Sarah J. Blake,
This blog began as an attempt to help people to understand my experience of living with disabilities. Over time, it has become a place where I share my thoughts about current events, theology, my experiences as a seminary student, and many other things. All of these things play a part in my experience as a person with disabilities; and my experiences as a person with disabilities shape my thoughts and experiences in these other areas. I hope that reading my entries is encouraging and/or educational. If you leave a comment on an older entry, please bear in mind that my thoughts and feelings about some matters have done a good deal of refining over the years and the entry may not reflect my current thinking.
I'm having moments of relief with my nose...I'm trying to take it as a hopeful sign, but I wish the relief would last just a bit longer. It seems to be brought on bby getting up and moving around, which seems to suggest that getting up and doing more would be therapeutic. This would be a lot easier to accomplish if I could get some decent sleep. It's sort of like I can't do one without the other... I got up and got ready for church, which brought on a nice relief period, but I've been sitting here typing for about 20 minutes or so and am now nicely closed up again.

I made it to church and even stayed awake. My nose alternated between letting me breathe and not. I'm glad I went. More notes later. I'm fatiguing badly. Just a few thoughts for now...

My sense of smell is back with a vengeance! I took a rather long nap this afternoon: probably about four hours. It was a little difficult breathing, but it was much easier than previous nights. After I got up, the blowing and sneezing action started... And oh, my! My cat box stinks! Wowie zowie! But Alexis' cooking smells wonderful!
