Today's notes are scattered...
God isn't the only one who works in three strands. Satan does, too.
Sometimes Humility can sound like arrogance.
God considered David humble. (See 1 Samuel 17.) In Acts 13:22, David is called a man after God's own heart.
God also considered Moses humble (Numbers 12:3).
The three-strand cord of humility is obedience, complete dependence on God, and view of self. Pride is really a low self-esteem.
According to Psalms 37:4, God will give me the desires of my heart when I am obedient.
God is moving me to a place of complete dependency. How do I balance that with intimacy?
Do I let my past direct my future and call it humility? I must confess my sin and confess Jesus' victory.
