church notes

Save me, o Lord, and I will be saved; heal me and I will be healed. I hear these words in my soul. What do they mean? If God saves me, then there is no way that I cannot be saved. If He heals, there is no place for sickness in my life. Am I willing, or do I enjoy my sickness?

When trouble comes, don't grumble against the Lord. "Make your requests known to God..." Whenever my will becomes more important than God's, my soul falls asleep and can be stolen even though I profess to serve God. He will awake the storm to get my attention. Oh, God, open my heart and speak to me and let me hear!

God doesn't want empty praise or sacrifices. He wants obedience!
