end of day report

Today was reasonably productive. I did the eye doctor thing, which turned out to be a major ordeal. There is some major construction project going on in Indy, and traffic is re-routed or something; so at one point we were driving at 25 MPH on a 70 MPH stretch of highway. Then we went to the wrong building--it's been a while since Dad has taken me to the eye doctor. I, of course, had no clue until I got in and was told there was no such doctor there. Once in the right place, waiting for all the procedures to get done took a good two hours. Then it took another hour to get back. So I lost several hours that I had intended to spend working on the papers.

I did get some work done this afternoon and evening. The little history paper is about two thirds done. I'll finish it in the morning. That will take some stress off me. I'm falling asleep typing right now.

I did not follow dietary guidelines today. I am paying for it in several ways.
