Voice Post: morning miscellany

I'm just rambling about nothing in particular in this post: my dog's food obsession, the fact that I have not yet posted the rest of yesterday's gratitude, and the fact that I'm already in the habit of waking up at 5:00 A.M.

filling in the gratitude holes

There are still six things to post from yesterday--I was halfway through the doughnut holes when I wrote the morning post.

  1. The chapel message was extremely relevant to me, all about God re-forming us from time to time for new places of service.
  2. Someone saved me a place at lunch.
  3. I am getting the hang of the new song in chorus.
  4. I have not had difficulty hearing my OT professor.
  5. I have gone four days with no migraines.
  6. I did not have a meltdown over sitting at a table alone in my morning class. Maybe the new supplement is helping my emotional stability as well.

good things

I am at home so don't have muffins... But there are still good things to post.

  1. I had a lovely nap this morning.
  2. My dog is just too stinking cute! She comes running from the other end of the house whenever I say, "Loretta, where are you?"
  3. Two cats have been sleeping on my bed while I study.
  4. I do not have pain today, including in my back. (It's a good day to clean house and read, but so far I am resting and reading.)
  5. I love my books so far!
  6. Dr. Trese gave me the ok to go with Plaquenil if I decide on it. I feel a lot better about it now so will decide when the time comes around.
  7. The cats did not fight me about being FURminated this morning.
  8. It is a perfect temperature day!

Four more and I can have some doughnut holes...

four more

More good things:

  1. I am still celebrating a pain-free existence. If this keeps up, I won't know what to do with myself.
  2. I have read about 40 pages today and am still going.
  3. I took time out to work on a writing project.
  4. Those nasty scrapes I got on my hands a couple of weeks ago are nearly gone.
