About signed a deal with a company called Keen and just sent us all out a notice about it. Keen basically fields phone calls from people who want to talk to someone live and in person so that neither party has to give out their phone number. The deal was that we could opt to join the program, set our own per-minute rates, and get $400 bonus for signing up. Awfully tempting given my current situation. I was tempted to stay in long enough to sign up and get the bonus. *grin*
But really, who wants to pay a per-minute rate to talk to someone when there is email? It's a neat idea for offering help with tech troubles and stuff, but I don't know that it's practical, and besides that I think it was just anice little bait thrown out at the right time to try to cover the recent troubles.
