We have snow! And I am telling what I learned from TidyCat.com about the changes in their litter: essentially a new thing called Tiny Locking Technology '®. The original version is still available in some formulas. This is info for the cat folks on my friends list.

I don't know if we got any snow or not, but we had a winter advisory for an inch or more for early morning.

But, we were asleep then, so if we did we were not aware of it...

LOL...

My fiance and I use the Scoop Away for Multiple Cats litter. It's a little bit more expensive, but it WORKS. Also, there is hardly ANY odor. It can be used used in electrical litter boxes because it's like sand! Perfect!

Scoop away
Thanks for the info on the litter! How does it do with the clumps not sticking to the box? That's the problem I'm having with the new TC formula. The original formula takes everything off the bottom of the box and I hadn't scrubbed for six months. I scrubbed in early December, and I'm already going to have to do it again with this new stuff because the clumps just stick unless I get in there and scoop it myself. Duh! That defeats the purpose of having an electric box!

Re: Scoop away
depending on how "deep" the cats scratch at first before they use the bathroom depends on if it sticks I think.

I don't have an electric box anymore, but I used premium litter (didnt know about scoop away at the time) and it worked great. then, money issues came along and had to buy the cheap wal-mart stuff. ended up throwing the electric litter box away because of it.

:(

but this stuff works great with just a regular litter box though. and since it's a multi-cat formula, shouldn't cause any trouble. it clumps pretty fast and the clumps don't break up.

only every once in a while do I have to scrub a little on the bottom where my cats have peed too close to the bottom (my cats are both boys; not sure how it would be with girl cats).

Re: Scoop away
oh meant to say, when I said premium litter, I meant something similiar to scoop away.

but, scoop away is ever better than what we used to begin with!
