morning musings

First, an unusual birthday shout out... I don't usually do these, but someone needs one and truly deserves it. I would not be where I am today without her support and help. Thank you, read2781, and I hope your birthday is the best week of your life so far with many more to follow!

hurricaneamy loaned me two voice posts because we were having so much fun last night eating out and Frank the Goat 9the supposed LJ mascot) ate some of my posts this month. Here are the links--click to go to the posts on her LJ.

First post: We're talking about me having too much coffee and Amy's trip so far.">

Everyone's taking bites of dessert, and I'm describing my cake.

We have an unusual chapel service today. Some 200 people are visiting who are part of another Church of God movement. I will post about it later, when I have much more time. It takes a lot of explaining to get into the theology behind this visit... Anyway, I signed up to bring three batches of cookies. So Alexis made two batches on Sunday, and Amy and I made a double batch last night. It really didn't take that long, all things considered; but my feet are sore and we started far too late in the evening. I finally got to bed around 2:00 and must have fallen asleep around 3:00. I've been awake since 5:00, and this is my long day. I have class at 8:00, chapel, lunch, chorus, rheumatology, class at 6:00, and should get home a little after 9:00 P.M. I still have a slew of work to do on the history paper. I hope that tomorrow is extremely productive somehow... I really need to finish going through sources and do a massive amount of writing. I'd like to spend the weekend on my other paper.

  • I do still exist

For those who are still reading (and I do see that a few are still here), I am posting a very, very short summary, like one of those very short…

  • Tired of tests yet?

Just testing another ap. I think I don't like it, but it does update both blogger and Lj and seems less clunky than the other LJ app. So far the best…

  • testing

I am testing the IPhone app to see how accessible it is. Supposedly you can do a cut but I think I have to get skilled at selecting a lot of text.…
