day before surgery

I am now caught up. Now really ahead like I wanted to be. We'll see how I do today... Perhaps I can read like a mad person and get some more work done on papers... If I am lucky, Vicodin will keep me awake instead of putting me to sleep after surgery...

Today: laundry, reading, doctor's appointment which will take a hundred years... Tomorrow: surgery center at 9:30, wait around for a hundred years, wish they would give me something while I sit there with the thing around my head to push the fluid out of my eye, tell Dad he owes me Starbucks since I was a good little patient... I can't think too much beyond this. I usually write more profoundly than this before my surgeries... For this one, I don't really have it in me right now.

I wish you the best of luck. I know what surgery is like and I will be thinking of you and sending all positive vibes your way. *Hugs*

Rewards for endurance
Not exactly the most fun day to look forward to, but you're a trooper...maybe as you lay there you can think of some wonderful things like a new song, a precious memory of your pets to put in this new book you are going to compile, figure out how to make your Zoom thing work.

HMmMM you are a starbucks girl...I got a gift card for my birthday last week...maybe you and I and Loretta and whoever else we can get in the car should make a road trip soon...think about that! Prayers and positive thoughts always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Rewards for endurance
Hmm... Can we get three people and three or four dogs in your car...? This is a fun thing to imagine while I'm laying on the table. Hahahahaha!!! Alexis keeps bringing Meg up so that I can have multi-dog therapy. It works really well.
