1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Taught Sunday school.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 
Some, and haven't decided yet.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year.
5. What countries did you visit? 
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? A new house
Better time management.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Meg's last work day, when she was doped up on Phenobarbitol; getting my exegesis paper back with no points off; meeting Loretta on 05/28/07.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing the most recent semester and completing first year Hebrew.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not sure.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Several upper respiratory infections.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
That's impossible to decide. I consider each thing for its own value, though I must say that my desktop computer has truly revolutionized my time management because of the increase in recognition time on the books I scan.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
kl1964 for getting himself back up and trying his hand at life again after feeling so much despair.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I wouldn't discuss other people's negative behavior in my LJ, and really I don't like to think about it. It makes me angry and starts my own behavior on a bad spiral, which is something I would like to change in 2008.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Vitamins and other essentials, Meg's vet bills, technology.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting done with the semester.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Haven't thought about that.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. Happier or sadder? Not sure how to compare that. I'm not good at general comparisons like that.
ii. Thinner or fatter? Two words: Prednisone and carbs.
iii. Richer or poorer? same
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? 
Reflective writing.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stewing over things.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent Christmas with some family and then caught a cold.
21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
22. How many one-night stands?
I don't do those.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
TV? What's that?
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I've never hated anyone. I have disturbed relationships that I wish badly could be mended; but apparently not all can be.
25. What was the best book you read?
Hmm... Don't know. I was captivated by several books but did not often have time for true reading.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
A bunch of new artists on CDBaby.
27. What did you want and get?
Good grades.
28. What did you want and not get?
A 3.5 cumulative GPA.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
No movies watched.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I don't remember what I got. I turned 35.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
When tired and going out, dress up.
32. What kept you sane?
Kitties, frolicking dogs, friends.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't idolize public figures but did take note of some well-lives public lives for the sake of inspiration.

a number of people
36. Who was the best new person you met?
A couple of new local friends.

Perseverance is a vital part of success because success really does not come without a lot of hard work and nothing ever comes without times of pain.
