my "issue profile"

I told kl1964 the other day that it was important to find middle ground with McCain supportere. I dislike reading bashing of either candidate. I have typically supported republican candidates in the past; but when a family member sent some ultraconservative propaganda around regarding Obama last year, I became intrigued and researched his prior activities. I found that I really appreciated his voting history on certain agendas. And so I learned to appreciate "the other side." It may not always be the case that I vote democrat. My attitude now is really that I have to look at the individual, not the party.

Like someone else who took this quiz, I found the questions dissatisfying. A good deal of what I think about isn't here. But it's generally an interesting line-up of how the party system thinks; and it tells me why I hate the issue of party bashing so much. I don't really fit neatly into one or the other.

Your Issue Profile: 64% Obama, 36% McCain
While it sounds like Obama is the choice for you, he's not a perfect match.
You and John McCain actually share some of the same views.

Whether this is news to your or not, you have some studying to do.
Obama seems like he's the right fit, but it's an important issue might sway you over to McCain.

  • testing

I am testing the IPhone app to see how accessible it is. Supposedly you can do a cut but I think I have to get skilled at selecting a lot of text.…
